Why you blog

The true reason why I blog is to be close to my friends. Actually is a friend in particular, an old friend from my college year. She have been blogging for many years I reckon. The first time I visited her blog she had an accident if I am not mistaken.

Another friend of mine ask me to join her IM and I did, however when I ask this particular friend of mine she said, she has no time. So, here I am, I make my own blog just to share her interest and somehow I got hook to it. Things we do for a friendship Nani don't get mad this is a true story but now I understand why you are so hooked up with blogging.

Talking about old friend, I received a phone call from someone I haven't met for a very long time 12 years to be exact. Really make my day, don't you love hearing a voice you haven't heard for a long time. She is married to a police officer and have 3 little kids. I am going to give her a visit some day.

So I have a question to you, why do you blog? I 've told you my story now it's your turn

  1. I've always loved writing. But for the longest time I neglected this little passion of mine. Only recently, when I switched jobs to something less stressful and time consuming did I rediscover my love for writing.

    I've never looked back since.

Plus, it's a great way to vent off steam and let lose with what's on your mind.

You get to know new people too (it's a nice little bonus).

  2. Frankly, i was forced by that teacher-sister of mine. She started since her uni days..and forced me to create blog 3 years ago. I started only when I moved to Ipoh..felt lonely here being an outsider and the environment is just right to blog. To me it's now a stress buster and a gift to my family. Too busy to manage photo albums, scrap book or journals, I write almost all happenings in the blog..it's an open diary. The comments and friends I made along the way is such a sweet bonus. I love peeping into your life too Rita, as I miss you as one of my closest friend. I hardly trust people and you're one of them that know me inside out!

Oh makcik Zeri finally called you. I wish we all can meet up again. Sorry about the chat..(YM ke IM ke..tak ingat)..I don't blog when people wake up..so it's a big no to me.

  3. why I blogging? I like to write. I really love to write. First in BM. On that moment, nobody know my blog and writing a blog is so much pleasure for me, its like an escapism, people in internet know but people who know you never know what you had wrote,on that moment. From Danchan host to jaring, then the blogdrive. I keep moving to from one hosting to another, when the hosting start slow and I discover another hosting that have a better offer. But I never delete the blog, its like a record of your mind, your memory.Sadly, blogdrive had delete my blog, when they notice i no longer active in their blog.

Now, blogger become a climax of my blogging career ..lol. In this moment, where something i fear of, had happened. I no longer can write freely, as people who know me start entering my blog, and they start blogging too.lol.

But yes, writing in English improve my english here and there, but its blunt my BM.LOL

  5. Aizan we do sometimes neglect our passion, good for you to be able to continue your passion through blogging arena.

Nani, I guess we are the type of people who need to be pushed into something. Otherwise we never start.

Amirah blogging really is a good media for us teachers to improve our language. So I guess you are the starting point to this chain reaction ( of me and your sister)

Zingtrial, yes actually I agree with you, blogging does take a lot of my time that is what I noticed because once I spend the whole day in front of my notebook lurking at other people's blog. (lurking because I seldom comments, but now I do comment because posts without comment is like guitar without string quoted from geeky momma blogger)
